Storm Records releases official statement over Naeto C fraud accusations; threatens to sue promoter

Storm Records has released an official statement following the accusations levelled against the label’s rapper Naeto C by a show promoter.

In a statement released exclusively to NET, Storm admits Naeto C was approached by the FBS Entertainment body represented by one Muhammad Nura for the July 18 show although the said promoter did not have a direct conversation with the rapper regarding the subject.

2 bankers arraigned for alleged forgery of customers’ signatures

Abuja – Two workers of Diamond Bank PLC, Okoh Ebele and Charles Amadi, were on Wednesday arraigned before a Karu Chief Magistrates’ Court, Abuja, for allegedly forging the signatures of four consumers.

The accused persons withdrew N250,000 from one of the customer’s account.

Prosecutor Garba Mohammed told the court that the accused were arraigned on a four-count charge of criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust by servant, forgery and theft.

Newborn Baby Kidnapped from Labour Room after Birth

This sounds like a fairy tale but it is true. Gunmen have invaded the labour room of a maternity home in Nkwoegwu, Ohuhu, in Umuahia North LGA of Abia State and took away a newborn baby immediately after delivery, while nurses were still battling to save the mother from bleeding to death.

Customs arrests passenger with $320,000 at Lagos airport

In what seems to be a worrisome trend, another passenger has been arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos while trying to travel out of the country with $320,000.

The Airport Command of Nigeria Customs Service announced the arrest on Monday of the passenger identified as Onwuekwe Anthony Chidi aboard a Qatar Airways flight bound for Doha, in the Gulf region.
