Paris Jackson Update: She's Doing 'Much Better'

Five days ago, Paris Jackson wound up in the hospital after a frightening suicide attempt, but it appears the 15-year-old is now on the mend.

According to zimbio.com
"She is doing much better. The whole experience scared the hell out of her," the source said (via E! News). "If it's possible that there is one, then this is the silver lining that has come out of this horrible situation. She now knows she has got to concentrate on looking after herself."
Michael Jackson's daughter was transferred to the UCLA Medical Center Sunday after her 72-hour psychiatric hold at a local hospital was complete. It's unclear how long she will be held there.
Now, she's apparently focused on getting better and figuring out her family situation. The source added: "She knows she has some big decisions to make. And she knows she needs to get better and start thinking straight. Paris and the whole family are working out how they can move forward from this. Clearly there are some big issues that need to be sorted. Paris knows that she has a lot of work to do, she is the person that needs to deal with the issues she is personally facing."

Along with her own re-evaluation, last week a judge announced that an investigation into the teen's custody status would be performed in light of the alleged suicide attempt. It's pretty much standard protocol for minors in that situation. So far, no update on that piece, but TMZ reports that Paris' biological mother, Debbie Rowe, would be willing to take custody of her if that was deemed best for the budding starlet. The two have recently become close.
