Nigeria's National Anthem Composer, Pa Ben Odiase is Dead

Pa Benedict Elise Odiase The composer of  Nigeria’s Current National Anthem, is dead, reports have it that he diedWednesday morning while sleeping at his Oregun home in Lagos,  He composed the anthem while he was the director of music of the Nigerian Police band, in May 1978. He retired in 1992 as a Deputy Commissioner of Police.
