Justin Bieber to take paternity test to refute baby allegations

    Justin Bieber has agreed to take a paternity test to further refute allegations he fathered a child with a fan, and a spokesman has confirmed the teen pop star is also investigating legal action of his own.
Bieber will take a DNA test in later November to prove he is not the father of a newborn, sources told the Canadian Press and gossip website TMZ.
A Bieber spokesman also issued a statement to The Canadian Press on Monday saying that the singer's team would pursue all legal avenues.
"It's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory and demonstrably false claims," Matthew Hiltzik said in an emailed statement.
"We'll vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to protect Justin and to hold those involved with bringing this suit accountable for their actions."
    Last week, an American woman named Mariah Yeater filed a paternity lawsuit against the Stratford, Ont.-born singer in San Diego. Her suit calls for child support and a paternity test. A hearing is scheduled for Dec. 15.On Friday during an appearance on NBC's Today, the 17-year-old Bieber denied the allegations that he fathered the child, born in July. He added that he has never met Yeater.
"To set the record straight, none of it is true," the teen chart-topper declared
