Bye Bye NOKIA; Microsoft will replace its Nokia brand with ‘Microsoft Lumia’

It’s been a gradual process since Microsoft finalized the deal to acquire Nokia’s Devices & Services division back in April, but we finally have some clarity on what will happen to the Nokia brand in the hardware realm – though it may not surprise you.

As noted in this Nokia France Facebook post, followers will be notified of a name-change to the Page in the coming days, and it will now be called…[drum roll]… Microsoft Lumia. The Verge has also confirmed that this social media-rebranding will continue in other countries in the coming weeks.

1. The biggest football jersey
Nigeria got into the Guinness Book of World Records for having the biggest football jersey in the world. It appeared at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Surulere Lagos and the Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt. This thing was to encourage millions of fans of the Super Eagles.

That jersey had amazing size: 241ft 3in (73.533m) in width and 294ft 2in in length (89.662m). It beat the previous records: 234ft 1in (71.349m) by 259ft 8in (79.146m) created in Turkey in 2009. Therefore, Nigerian jersey was recorded as the largest football jersey in history.

Warner Bros. is serious about injecting its expanding DC comic book universe with some big star power. It turns out Will Smith might end up headlining the first movie to follow Batman v Superman with Tom Hardy and Margot Robbie co-starring.

Earlier this week we reported on Warner Bros. announcement that it's got 10 DC movies slated through 2020. And the first movie after Batman v Superman is going to be Suicide Squad, a lesser-known DC property where supervillains team up to take on so-called "suicide" missions in order to clear their names. Gritty action specialist David Ayer is set to direct, making Suicide Squad the follow-up to Fury, which opens this weekend. The plan is for Suicide Squad to have a dark tone with lots of action.
