NEW MOVIE ALERT: Review of The Equalizer

Sony pictures blockbuster ‘THE EQUALIZER’ hits the cinema from Friday, September 26th. The buzz and rave of this film could be credited to the man behind it and the success of the team reuniting after 13years in which their previous film grossed over $76.6million in ticket sales
.
The Equalizer is one of the most anticipated and biggest release in the third quarter of the year. It stars  Denzel Washington who has a huge fan base and his character will definitely attract audiences to the cinemas. This feature also starring Chloe Grace Moretz, David Meunier and Marton Csokas will leave movie audience hanging on tightly to their seats.


The Equalizer tells the story of a man who believes he has put his mysterious past behind him and has dedicated himself to beginning a new, quiet life. But when he meets a young girl under the control of ultra-violent Russian gangsters, he has to help her. Denzel Washington as Robert McCall works in a DIY store and spends time in a quaint diner where he mingles with everyone including a young prostitute, Elena (Chloe Grace Mortez) . Story takes a twist when Elena is man handled by her pimp Slavin( DavidMeunieer)  and she is hospitalized. To keep the movie not so tense, the charm of Denzel slips out once in a while with his wide smile and swagger movement. Whether he is sitting discussing or standing arranging something, Denzel is such a delight to watch and that gave the movie some balance.

THE EQUALIZER opens in all cinemas across Nigeria this Friday September 26th, 2014.
