Organisers of the annual Big Brother Africa reality TV show have announced that auditions for the 2013 edition of the show will begin in January 2013.
Managing Director of M-Africa, Biola Alabi, says the next edition will feature housemates whose activities will provide the audience with happiness, hope, anxiety, friendship, love, arguments and fights. She also added that the next edition will have a new twist to it which will will be revealed when the show begins airing.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr. Victor Babayemi, in a statement on Friday, said the suspect, Ayodele Jinadu, was arrested for alleged attempt to decapitate his victim who he had lured to a hotel.
The PPRO said the victim who had machete cuts all over her body was rescued and taken to the hospital where she was treated.

2 Suspects Caught With Drugs At Lagos Airport
An attempt by Olawole Akanle, 42, to smuggle 630g of cocaine hidden in six tablets of soap to the United Kingdom was recently aborted by law enforcement agents at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
Akanle was about to board an Arik Air flight to London when he was apprehended by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.

Xmas
Its been a very good year, and its a wonderful opportunity for me to thank each and everyone of you who have been visiting and commenting on this blog, everyone who mailed me gists and gossips happening around, I say a big thank you.

This sad event happened this morning. These 4 boys and a girl drowned in the Omambala river at Umuezeanam, Anambra west, as they were swimming for fun having come from Lagos for Christmas holiday. Imagine 3 brothers, their sister and a friend.
