Brandy is headed down the aisle! The singer/actress is engaged to music exec Ryan Press, reports Us Weekly.
Sources tell the mag: "They are thrilled and happy and Brandy feels this is so right.



More on Janet Jackson; Another source says the two have already made arrangements for a spring wedding in Quatar. It'll "cost millions" and include all of Jackson's enormous family, including over 20 nieces and nephews. They'll all head over to the country on private jets, adds the Us source.

This will be the third wedding for Jackson, who was married for a few months to her childhood friend and fellow R&B artist James DeBarge in the '80s before getting an annulment. In 1991, she secretly married René Elizondo, Jr. They lasted until 1999. From 2002 to 2009, she dated Jermaine Dupri.

Jackson has not confirmed the engagement, but she did tweet a lovely Christmas picture to her fans a few days ago.

More on Brandy; Earlier this year, the "Boy is Mine" singer talked about marriage to Sister2Sistermagazine. She said in August: "I keep hearing about a ring. People keep calling me, hinting to me about it, but I don't know. I'm going to be patient and let it happen and just let it be. . . I guess it will happen when it's the right time."


This will be Brandy's first marriage, technically. In 2008, she admitted to lying for two years about being married to ex Ryan Smith when she discovered she was pregnant with daughter Sy'rai, who's now 10. "I lied because of the fear of what people would think and the pressure to be a good role model," she told Usat the time. "Our relationship was very real -- we just weren't legally married."
