Carey had earlier said that she bulked up her security team after Nicki Minaj allegedly threatened to shoot her with a gun during their blow up earlier this week ... and Thursday she proved she ain't messin' around.
Mariah and Nicki both participated in the shoot -- and even posed for pics TOGETHER. We heard the shoot was peaceful, but it's clear the hatchet is not buried.

15 die scooping petrol in Abia

Abacha’s son gets highest Ijaw title
THE Bayelsa State Government yesterday honoured Mohammed, son of former Military Head of State, the late Gen. Sani Abacha, with the highest title in Ijaw land.
It bestowed on him the “Izon Ebidouwei of Ijawland.”
The title means “One who seeks the good of Ijawland”.
Mohammed was also presented with the flags of the Ijaw Nation.
Mohammed was invited by the government to be part of the 16th anniversary celebration of the state.
Bayelsa was created in 1996 by the late Abacha.

Kanayo, Frank Edoho to name a few to a tastefully organized candle lit dinner in their home in Ikoyi.
When she arrived back at their home she met the place all lit up, complete with a live band, friends and family shouting ‘Happy birthday!” The actress who couldn’t hide her shock especially at seeing her colleagues at the event, laughed and hugged family and friends and later ran upstairs to change from her casual outfit to join the party that was well underway downstairs.

Beloved countrymen and women, on this day, fifty-two years ago, our founding fathers brought joy and hope to the hearts of our people when they won independence for our great country. Nigeria made a clean break with more than six decades of colonial rule, and emerged as a truly independent nation. That turning point was a new beginning for our nation.
