A press conference was organised by the World Beauty Organisation for the launch of the Miss Intercontinental Beauty pageant, taking place on September 6th 2014. Select members of the Press were invited to intimate them on more details about the Pageant and members of the press had the opportunity to ask questions about the upcoming event. The competition is open to interested participants between the ages of 18 – 27 years, who feel they have what it takes to win the crown. They should purchase forms at Fidelity Bank for N5000 (Five thousand naira only) and bring completed forms to audition venues, along with a two piece swimsuit, two 5’’ x 7’’ photos; ( one showing full body posture and the other portrait size photograph).
Audition venues and dates are; Owerri – All Seasons Hotel, Owerri, Imo State, on the 21st & 22nd of July. Abuja auditions hold at Cubana, plot 130 Adetokunbo Ademola street, Wuse 2, Abuja on the 24th & 25th of July and Lagos auditions are on the 28th & 29th of July 2014 at the Tetrazini Building, Akin Adesola street, Victoria Island.
The main pageant will be taking place on the 6th of September 2014 at the Intercontinental Hotel, in Victoria Island, Lagos.
