Royal Arts Academy Set To Release 4 Hot Movies into the market

Royal Arts Academy gets set to launch into the market two highly anticipated DVDs ;  ‘Weekend Getaway’ and the newly produced ‘Desperate House Girls’!

The launch will take place on August 2nd at Terra Culture. Time is 4pm. Dress Code: casual.  ‘Weekend Getaway’ which was screened in cinemas nationwide, enjoyed a successful run in the cinemas. It stars Genevieve Nnaji, Ramsey Nouah, Ini Edo-Ehiagwina, Monalisa Chinda, Beverly Naya, Uru Eke, Uti Nwachuwkwu, Bobby Obodo, Alex Ekubo, Bishop Ime Umoh etc. It was produced by Emem Isong, Ini Edo & Monalisa Chinda and directed by Desmond Elliot. The DVD copy includes several extra features like deleted scenes, The Making, the trailers etc.


‘Desperate House Girls’ which is just being released in the market, stars Desmond Elliot, Ini Edo, Kenneth Okolie, May Lazarus, Benjamin Toitou etc. It is about three pretty, young girls have had enough of the ghetto life. In a bid to step up their game, they decide to become house girls to rich families. Their mission is simple: Get rich by whatever means.  It was directed by Desmond Elliot and produced & written by Uduak Oguamanam.

The event which is a casual one, will be an opportunity for the cast & crew to meet and greet their teaming fans, answer questions, take pictures, etc. There will be musical performances and other attractions. This event is open to the general public.

Lonely Hearts – Produced by Emem Isong
Synopsis: Aima is kicked out of her sister’s house and has nowhere to go. Rescue comes in the person of Charles her colleague who she believes is gay. Aima accepts to stay in his place with his room mate but she somehow can’t shake the nagging feeling that his ‘gay’ might just mean ‘happy’! Is he? Isn’t he? Only time will tell.

Synopsis; Stuck in a loveless marriage to a much older man, Michelle wants out by all means. Finally fed up of his controlling gways, she plans with her boyfriend Deji to have in eliminated. In a twist of fate, Chief decides to hire an ex-police man to be her body guard. Will he catch on to what she is up to?
