Prince William Releases Short and Sweet Statement on Becoming a Dad

Prince William Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge arrive for a service of celebration to mark the 60th anniversary of the Coronation Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey on June 4, 2013 in London, England.  The Queen's Coronation took place on June 2, 1953 after a period of mourning for her father King George VI, following her ascension to the throne on February 6, 1952. The royal baby arrived yesterday and, as expected, the royal family is over the moon about the news of the little prince. New grandpa Prince Charles has released a statement, the Queen is "delighted," and now brand new dad Prince William has shared his sentiments.

Will got straight to the point in his statement about his new bundle of joy: "We could not be happier." 

He'll spend the night at the hospital with his family Monday night and they'll all head back home in the next day or two. At that point, the baby's name will likely be revealed and we might even get the first glimpse of the tyke. Stay tuned to Potrix Naija Blog *winks*
