Idris Elba Is Taking a Break From Acting for His Music

I'm Sorry, if you are a  fan of  Idris Elba: You'll be seeing less him over the next year or so as he dedicates himself to his music career. Yeah — Idris Elba has a music career. Who knew?

"This year, I'm not going to work as an actor and I'm going to put my mind into music," Elba told the UK's Standard. "It's a progression thing with me. I want to make music but I don't want to shove it down people's throats. People are just barely getting to know me as an actor. But I do it from the heart, I'm not doing it for money — I just enjoy doing it."

Elba, who DJs under the name Big Driis the Londoner, has released a couple of songs over the past couple of years. Check out his music video for "Private Garden" below and let us know if you think Elba should quit his day job.
