Joke Silva Appointed As Movie MD At Kwara University

Our very own Nollywood mother, Joke Silva, wife to the veteran actor, Olu Jacob, is now an MD at Kwara University, Great news! she will be heading a Nollywood movie studio named Malete Film Village owned by Kwara State University.

She says she will be building movie studios in the school and also train young and upcoming actros and actresses 

She said, “I would be building a movie studio from scratch and making it viable. More importantly, it is supposed to be an underpinning for Nollywood where the skills that are necessary to sustain Nollywood will be taught. It is to train those who have decided to take a profession in the film industry and the various skills that are involved in the industry. I am the pioneer MD.”
