Selena Gomez Announces New Album On the Heels of Her Break Up with Justin Bieber

Less than a week after news of her breakup from Justin Bieber became common knowledge, it looks like Selena Gomez is calling an end to her nearly year-long hiatus from music. Ryan Seacrest broke the news via Twitter today, writing, "@selenagomez just told me new album in march fyi."

So will it be packed with juicy breakup material like her pal Taylor Swift's new album? It's anyone's guess at this point. It's also unknown whether Selena will be releasing this album solo or with her band, the Scene.


For his part, Justin has been channeling his heartbreak by covering Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me a River" at his concerts. We'll be keeping a close eye Selena's lyrics to see if we can catch any references to her superstar ex-boyfriend.
