Hours after the NCC announced that all lotteries by Nigerian Telecommunication Networks should be suspended with immediate effect; MTN announced the winner of its Ultimate Wonder “Win an Aeroplane” promo. The promotion which launched in August 2012 and closed in October 2012 was unaffected by the ban as it concluded before the NCC directive.
