Soldiers in Ondo Central Senatorial district arrested Oni for distributing money to security agents.
He was arrested at Jolaco Filling Station behind Akure Garage with money, Polling Agents Handbook and a list of names.

He was caught close to Mimiko’s polling booth distributing N10,000 to each security officials.
He denied that he was distributing money to security agents to influence the outcome of the election. Rather, he explained the money was feeding allowance meant for the party’s agents.
He was whisked away in a Hilux pick-up with registration number MA 929B 0S.
The man has been sent to Olokuta prison in Ondo
