University Of Ibadan’s Dean Of Arts Faculty Slumps And Dies In Market

                                

The academic community of University of Ibadan was thrown into a mourning mood today as the University’s Dean of Faculty of Arts, Professor Kolawole Olu-Owolabi suddenly slumped and died at Mokola Roundabout Ibadan.


According to P.M News, the late scholar came out of his car at Mokola market with the aim of buying something and suddenly collapsed.
However, the people around called the police who responded immediately and took him to an unknown hospital where he was confirmed dead.

Professor Olu-Owolabi who became dean last year August1, 2011 was former Head of Department of Philosophy between October 2002 and 2004.
He is survived by wife and two children.
