Usain Bolt Wins Gold, Sets New Olympic Record By Running 100m in 9.63 Seconds

                                  
                                   

The four fastest men in history ran. Usain Bolt remains the fastest. Usain Bolt set a new Olympic record, running the 100m dash in 9.63 seconds. It was the second fastest 100m time ever, and he had, by his standards, an underwhelming start.

Yohan Blake (9.75) and Justin Gatlin (9.79) take silver and bronze respectively. Americans Tyson Gay (9.80) and Ryan Bailey (9.88) finished in fourth and fifth.
