Reports reaching Naija Gossip now is that the inspector general of police,Hafiz Ringim has been fired and an Assistant Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Dikko Abubakar, has been tipped to replace the departing IG.His sack must have been due to the recent goof involving the escape of Kabiru Sokoto, the Boko Haram suspect linked with the deadly Christmas Day bombings in Madalla, near Abuja, which claimed over forty lives.
