PHOTOS: Fatal Accident In Awka Yesterday

This very sad accident scene happened yesterday evening, as two cars with the surname "Toyota" were struggling for a wide road. A Toyota Sienna and  a Toyota Carina were involved in a serious racing game that turned out very sour and bloody along Awka express road, according to my friend, an eyewitness who sent me these photos, the black Sienna was trying to over take the pale purple Toyota but, the driver wanted to show his driving skills till "it" happened.

Their own car was just behind the two cars, so he was very much enjoying the racing competition. Everybody involved in the accident was seriously injured, the only good news is that there was a one year old baby and noting happened to the child. Praise be to Jesus... Now and forever :)

Looks like Will, Kate and Price George are moving again. The royal family is supposedly relocating to Amner Hall in the coming months while they wait for their home at Kensington Palace to be renovated. 

Don't worry, the temporary home on Queen Elizabeth II's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk definitely isn't a downgrade. The 10-room pad has plenty of space for a nursery or eight.

Plus, over the last few months there's been lots of improvements to the residence. A garden room was built on the side of the kitchen for privacy and a garage has been turned into an equipment room, possibly for police protection officers. And another space has been turned into a sitting room and bathroom. Kate will be rocking that baby all over the place soon.

Police Recover 8 Month Old Baby Sold Off By Grandma

The Plateau State Police Command have rescued an eight-month old baby girl, who was allegedly sold by her grandmother in Jos, Plateau State. The baby was rescued by men of the ‘A’ Division of the state police after a complaint by the mother and a tip-off by some members of the public. Pathetic! She sold her own grand child. A police source told our correspondent that the mother of the baby was allegedly impregnated by her boyfriend while she was staying with her grandmother at Rukuba area of Bassa Local Government. The grandmother was said to have been displeased with the birth of the baby and sought to dispose of her secretly. She was said to have found an ally in a woman living at Army Engineers area of Jos North, whom she sold the baby to.

ASUU and Federal Government – The Story So far

The Federal Government has began fresh talks with ASUU to find solution to the on-going strike action in the universities. The Minister of Labour and productivity; Chief Emeka Wogu disclosed that his ministry has began talks with ASUU through a negotiation team.

The negotiation team which includes members of National Assembly is headed by the Secretary to the Federal Government, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim. The Minister while addressing the Bamanga Tukur led leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee (NWC) on the activities of his ministry spoke for the government and how it is not satisfied with the original agreement which he described as complex.

Two Months Old Baby And Parents Burnt Alive In Osun State

A two-month old baby and her parents lost their lives in a midnight inferno that razed their residence in Kajola community, Osun State, in the early hours of Wednesday.

A resident, who pleaded anonymity, said the couple and their baby were consumed by the fire without anyone noticing  in the neighborhood.

It could not be ascertained whether the tragedy occurred before a light rain on Wednesday or after.

Our correspondent, however, noted that the incident had thrown the community into grief.

One of the children of the deceased, who went for a vigil, wept uncontrollably when she returned home in the morning to meet the charred bodies of her parents and sibling.
