According to reports theTaylor Swift's newly acquired ocean front estate was built in 1930 and has been carefully maintained over the years. The mansion has 8 bedroom residence presides over 5.25 acres of lawns and gardens which encompass over 700 feet of shoreline.

The grounds are highlighted with a wonderful and large Pebble Tec outdoor pool that enjoys the added benefit of an adjoining newly renovated pool house/fitness center. Surrounding the pool and main house are magnificent walled terraces that offer a spectacular venue for outdoor entertaining with their incredible vistas of sparkling ocean and surf.

That's right, Mr. President had the audience rolling on the floor laughing during his time at the mic.

Even Katy Perry tweeted: "I just witnessed our President deliver the funniest speech I have ever heard."

The Prez joked about Jay-Z going to Cuba, telling the crowd: "I've got 99 problems and Jay-Z is now one." (4:30 mark). And he even took a jab at Michelle's bangs. (5:25)

Chioma Chukwuka Set To Premiere New Film, ‘On Bended Knee'

Nollywood actress Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha joined the league of producers and produced a movie titled ‘On Bended Knee’.  The movie which is has Christian theme is about a man, Pastor Reuben (Seun kindele) who is fiercely passionate about the things of God and & committed to the church. But this doesn't go down well with his wife Kemi (Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha) who has to remind him that he's also a husband as well as a pastor. 

Temptation comes in form of a dark, handsome stranger (Chet Anekwe), who becomes attracted to her. Secrets are opened, hidden pasts are unearthed and Reuben finds himself torn between his love for his wife & his devotion to the church. Who wins this epic battle?

The event was well attended by film personalities from around the world.  The event which is organized yearly by Peace Anyiam Osigwe is in its 10th year and had as special guest, African-American actor and director, Mario Van Peebles. 

Winners announced included the late Justus Esiri who won the award for Best actor in a Lead role for his role in the movie ‘Assassin’s Practice’. South African actress, Florence Masabe won the Best Actress award for her  role in the film, “Elelwani”.

I also absolve you; you are not the problem.

Wholeheartedly, I agree with you, a lot is wrong with Nigeria. As a matter of fact, Nigeria is a bunch of absurdities made up of sheer ignorance and bundles of lies which piled up on one another and constitute a climate of confusion. It all started long before 1914 which you mentioned in your short but incisive speech. The Berlin Conference on Africa, November 15, 1884 through February 26, 1885 is the departing point if we are to gain deeper and comprehensive knowledge of the entire problem.

Young African Leaders Summit & Honours 2013 at UNN

Its been said that Africa is a third world country, but am always tempted to ask "who Said"? and to "whom"?

we all know that civilization started from Egypt and the bedrock of the worlds technology could be traced back to Africa. A continent like Africa that is filled with great minds, smart youths, disciplined individuals compared to the so called "first world " continents cannot, i repeat "cannot" be relegated to the background. 

In other not to bore you with my strong belief about my continent Africa and of course my home country 

Nigeria, I want to quickly let you know that The Young African Leaders Network, has come up with an event tagged African leadership Summit and Honors with the theme YOUTH: DELIVER THE FUTURE. 

This event is intended to awaken our mindset as Africans to the next level of contribution we need to make in our world as individuals, as a country and of course as a Great Continent. it is impossible for the world to get to its peak, if there is a "peak" without Africa. Finally borrowing the words of a famous Man we in Africa don't Believe that the Sky is our Limit so long as there are Footprints in Moon.

Professor Wole Soyinka Wins Anisfield-Wolf Award

The 1986 Nobel Laureate in Literature, Professor Wole Soyinka on Monday in America, won the Lifetime Achievement award of the annual Anisfield-Wolf Book Award.

The other winners are Andrew Solomon for Far From The Tree (Non-Fiction), Eugene Gloria for My Favorite Warlord (Poetry), Kevin Powers for The Yellow Birds (Fiction) and Laird Hunt for Kind One (Fiction).

This was the 78th edition of the award organised by The Root and sponsored by the Cleveland Foundation. Past winners include Derek Walcott, Toni Morrison, Nadine Gordimer and Wole Soyinka before they won the Nobel Prize.
