Rick Ross Issues an Official Apology for Date-Rape Lyrics

Just yesterday Reebok dropped William Roberts (a.k.a 'Rick Ross')." as an official spokesman because of his for Date-Rape Lyrics, the rapper finally issued a formal, more sincere apology over lyrics in his new song "U.O.E.N.O" that referenced date rape.

In case you missed the controversial lyric, here it is:

"Put molly all in her champagne, she ain't even know it. I took her home and I enjoyed that. She ain't even know it." (Molly is slang for the drug Ecstasy.)

Do you still believe in love ?
I believe in love. Love is the reason for our existence. It’s really not enough if you want to get something done, you have to do  away with that emotion and be real.

Are you  religious?
I’m from a religious background. I ‘m  an Anglican and all the moral teachings I learnt while I was growing up  are still  there till date. While I was seven, I was a member of my church choir . I attended an Anglican school, Archdeacon Memorial Grammar School, it’s a convent school. I’m quite religious.

AY Comedian, Ama K. Abebrese & Dakore Egbuson to Host AmaAwards 2013

As the clock continues to tick towards the 2013 edition of the African Movie Academy Awards holding in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State on April 20, the organisers have unveiled hosts for the event. Two Nigerians, Dakore Egbuson and Ayo Makun,  will join their Ghanaian counterpart, Ama Abebrese for the job, at the edition that marks AMAA’s return to its ‘home’, Bayelsa,  where it was held for years until 2102 when Lagos flirted with it.

For Dakore, it is another home-coming, since she hails from the same oil-rich state as President Goodluck Jonathan. While Ama K. Abebrese  a British television presenter, producer and actress of Akan origin in Ghana, will also be in action, it is AY that is expected to drive the treat, based on his pedigree as a comedian.

Facebook Boss Mark Zuckerberg to visit Akwa Ibom, Nigeria

Mark Zuckerberg the founder of Facebook is coming to Nigeria  to visit Akwa Ibom next month, according to a non governmental group, The Niger Delta Young Professionals

This announcement was made by the Chairman of the group, Mr Moses Siasia, when he paid a courtesy visit on Gov. Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom on Friday. He said that Zuckerberg had been invited as one of the guest speakers during his groups youth economic summit, scheduled to hold in Uyo from May 28 to May 29.

WEIRD: 18-Month Old Girl Suffering From Severe Hydrocephalous

These heartbreaking pictures show a rural Indian girl of just 18 months old suffering from hydrocephalus, a build up of fluid inside the skull. The family of Roona Begum, from the village of Jirania in India’s north-eastern state of Tripura, cannot afford to pay for her to be treated. Her father Abdul Rahman, 26, works in a brick factory, where he earns the equivalent of just N434 a day.

Babies who are born with hydrocephalus would normally require prompt surgical treatment to avoid being left permanently disabled. But without the means to pay for a doctor, Mr Rahman and his family can only do their best to keep Roona comfortable as they watch her condition slowly and inexorably deteriorate. Sometimes misleadingly known as water on the brain, hydrocephalus is caused by a build-up of the cerebrospinal fluid inside the skull, increasing pressure on the brain inside.

 Dammy krane's management as well  denied knowing about such and even if they were contacted, Dammy krane would not go.

Justin Bieber has over 37 million Twitter followers and counting, Chai!! but that doesn't mean he actually reaches 37 million fans with each tweet. there is an application Socialbakers' that assesses the quality of one's Twitter following,  what the application does is to determines "fake" or "empty" accounts by looking at its number of followers, the frequency of postings, the quality of postings, and even the profile image used, among other criteria.

Estimates that 35 percent of Bieber's followers are fake, and points out that a good 13 percent never tweet. This means that Bieber's Twitter following is a little over half of that 37 million if I can solve maths that means he has 19.5 million followers or there about. this is not completely accurate accurate though,

Meanwhile Justin Bieber is not the only celebrity with a massive fake following, About 44 percent of Katy Perry's followers are fake, according to the site\application, and 13 percent are inactive, while 31 percent of Lady Gaga's followers are fake, and 16 percent inactive.

Auditions will begin this weekend in Port Harcourt in the world’s number one music singing talent reality TV 

show, “The X Factor”, brought to Africa for the first time by leading telecommunications company, Globacom.
