Eight-Year-Old Boy Marries 61-Year-Old Woman in South Africa
“An eight-year-old schoolboy has married a 61-year-old woman because the ghost of his dead ancestor told him to. Sanele Masilela tied the knot with Helen Shabangu, who is already married and a mother-of-five. The boy, from Tshwane, South Africa, said he had been told by his dead ancestors to wed and his family, fearing divine retribution, forked out for a wedding. They paid £500 for the bride and a further £1,000 for the big day, which was organised in just two months.

Rihanna Cancels Boston Concert Because of Health Issues
Rihanna is forced to cancel today's night's show in Boston. Live Nation announced this morning (via TMZ)
"Unfortunately, following her sold out concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's instruction is unable to perform this evening."Apparently the show will go on in Baltimore Tuesday, for now. And the Boston show at TD Garden will be rescheduled. Get well soon RiRi baby :)

President Banda Hosts The Africa Movie Academy Awards Nominations in Malawi
Come March 15th 2013, the president of Republic of Malawi, Her Excellency Joyce Banda will host film makers and celebrities from different parts of Africa during the nominations event that will be hosted by Malawi.
The AMAA nomination weekend will run from March 14th-17th during which the business community, the political class in Malawi, celebrities from across Africa and their counterparts in the Southern African country will be hosted to per-nomination concert, the nominations event proper and post-nomination party.

Nwankwo Kanu Loses N1.4 Billion
Nigeria’s football star, Nwankwo Kanu has lost N1.4 billion in his hotel business and the Managing Director
of the hotel, Mr. Ayoola Gam Ikon, 49, has been arrested and charged to court for the alleged fraud.
Operatives of the Inspector General of Police Monitoring Unit arrested Ikon, the managing director of Hardley Suites Limited situated at Waziri Ibrahim Crescent, off Elsie Femi Pearse Street, Victoria Island, Lagos southwest Nigeria, for allegedly stealing the N1.4 billion belonging to the hotel and suites owned by Kanu.
