Talented, fast rising Nollywood Actress, Uru Eke is set to feature in a documentary on Nollywood in CNN’s Inside Africa. In the interview with CNN International Lagos Correspondent Vladamir Duthiers Uru talks about Nollywood and her journey so far and what a journey that is! Born and raised in England, Uru has had a fierce love for the Arts and has the acting chops to prove it.

ESUT VC kidnapped by gunmen
The Vice-Chancellor of Enugu State University of Technology, ESUT, Professor Cyprian Onyeji, has been kidnapped by gun men who shot his police escort. The VC was taken at the university gate by the gunmen who had reportedly been stationed outside.
According to eye witness account, the gunmen were said to have blocked the gate with their car as soon as the VC’s convoy arrived.

Nollywood actress Lilian Bach denies secret wedding news
The actress has denied reports making the rounds that she secretly got married to a man named Alaka and moved into his Lekki home a few weeks back. What she told an Encomium reporter below:
It's not a crime to be single and it's not a crime to be married. If I chose to tie the knot, it won't be a secret. For now, I am still single but if I chose to get married, my friends will be invited. I have nothing to hide and I have done nothing wrong. I am presently away but I have been receiving calls from people who are shocked as I am at the supposed breaking news of my secrets wedding. The report is false.

There have been speculation that popular comedian Seyi Law purchased his new car for N7.5 million.
