Actor Jackie Chan visits Myanmar with UNICEF to help combat child trafficking
Chinese action-film star and UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Goodwill Ambassador Jackie Chan is in Myanmar this week to help United Nations efforts to combat child trafficking in the country.
“Trafficking and exploiting children are horrific crimes. They leave lifelong scars and rob children of their childhoods,” Mr. Chan said. “Children are not for sale. For the sake the world’s children, we must work hard to stamp out these damaging and criminal practices.”

Mariah Carey introduced the segment by noting the perceived rivalry between the two singers, who collaborated on "When You Believe," their Oscar-winning song from the 1998 animated film The Prince of Egypt.
"We got to spend a lot of time together as we promoted it, and we really got to know each other as people, not divas," she said, noting that Houston was "a hilarious person, with a cutting sense of humor. She was real and kept it real, and that's why we got along so well. If you really knew Whitney, you coudln't help but love her."

Wizkid and Sarkodie Wins Best International Act: Africa at the BET Awards 2012 ; SEE FULL LIST OF WINNERS
Ayo ‘Wizkid’ Balogun has won the award for ‘Best International Act: Africa’ at the 2012 edition of the BET Awards!
The Nigerian pop act jointly won the award with Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie at the awards ceremony taking place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on July 1, 2012.
Nigerian rapper Ice Prince, Kenyan Hip-Hop/R&B group Camp Mulla, South African singer Lira and French speaking Malian rapper Mokobe where competitors for the coveted Best African Act prize.
‘Thankful!‘, an excited Wizkid tweeted.
This isn’t the first time the Best African Act award will be jointly won. Last year, African pop giants D’banj and 2face came out tops and received a joint award prize in the same category.
Wizkid also won the MOBO prize for Best African act in 2011

Jay-Z is facing legal issues over his book, Decoded, which was published in 2010.
Hova has been hit with a copyright infringement lawsuit, filed by a writer named Patrick White, who claims that Jay stole shares of his personal writing. White spoke up about the fact that his laptop was stolen in 2009, ironically a year before the book’s release.
