R.I.P Steven 'The Great' Kanumba
Kanumba (born January 8, 1984), was a multi award winning Tanzanian actor, with a career spanning more than a decade. Kanumba had received numerous awards, including; Best Actor of the Year, 2006, Best Actor in Tanzania Award, 2007, Best Artist of the Year Award, 2007/2008.
Steven Charles Kanumba a Tanzanian Film actor has been announced dead. The celebrated film actor passed away last night. The cause of his death hasn’t been established.

The former US Navy officer who trained Rihanna ahead of her Battleship appearance has spoken about what it was like to work with the star. Jackie Carrizosa, who spent a month teaching RiRi how to hold guns and talk like a Navy officer in order to convincingly play her character, has said that the singer was even tougher than her stunt double. The 22-year-old was drafted in to help out on set after director Peter Berg spotted her playing football with the US Navy.

David Adeleke better known as Davido has been unveiled as the face of MTN Pulse, the new marketing campaign for Nigerian youths by telecomms giant MTN. The unveiling was made at Club Vegas, Ikeja, Lagos and insiders tell us the deal is worth about N30million. No official details, but we’re told the project will include concert appearances for MTN Pulse, as well as other extras. According to Kola Oyeyemi, General Manager, Consumer Marketing, MTN Nigeria, ‘MTN Pulse’ which used to go under the name ‘MTN Fun Link‘ ‘needed a face for the youths to represent with’ and Davido best fit their description. Lauw Tjoan Eng, 51, has his body covered in benign tumours. He said he doesn’t look in the mirror because even he is frightened of his reflection. Small lumps started growing on his face when he was aged just five. They now cover his whole head and body. He eats and goes shopping late at night — often with his face almost completely covered.
He said:
“I live on my own and my sisters live quite far away from me so I feel really lonely. I don’t have a job because nobody will employ me so my sisters send me money to survive.
“When I go out during the day people always look at me strangely and I have been ridiculed by people because of the way I look.
“But they don’t know me – so they can’t judge me. I have no wife or children and have never been near a woman.
“So I hope one day I can be cured and find a women who I can be happy with, marry her and live a normal life like everyone else.”Lauw, from Sawah Besar in central Jakarta, Indonesia, was the first child of five siblings and was born completely healthy.
