Umuahia—ABIA State Government has ordered that prostitutes be chased away from the streets of Umuahia, the capital city.
Particularly, the government frowned on the situation where prostitutes loiter around Abia Tower, the main entrance to the state capital.
Worried by the activities of the women of easy virtue, the government, at its last Executive Council meeting, discussed the issue and decided that the women be chased away from the street, saying they were denting the image of the state.
