Amge was officially announced by the Guinness World Records on December 16 the world's 'shortest woman living (mobile)' measured as 62.8cm (24.7 inches) and will take the title from US woman Bridgette Jordan, previously held the record at 69.5 cm (27.4 in). 

Snoop Dogg sued for smoking weed at Middle-East Concert

   Snoop Dogg has been threatened with a lawsuit over an appearance he made in Beirut back in 2009 ,an appearance orchestrated by Middle East concert bigshot Roger Kalaouz. 

  Kalaouz claims Snoop blazed up some weed in the middle of a concert after-party which is illegal in Lebanon  and then featured footage of the puff session in a music video for his song, "That's Tha Homie" 

   He says Lebanese authorities caught wind of the weed smoking and launched a criminal investigation into his company  leaving his reputation "severely damaged." 

   Kalaouz has fired off letters to Snoop's people demanding more than $280k in damages  and a commitment for Snoop to perform 2 concerts in the Middle East.

Woman Who Jumped From Bridge Was Missing Pharmacy Student, Olutosin "Tosin" Oyelowo

                               

This is so pathetic, but could make such a young and promising lady take her own life? This is how it was reported: The woman who reportedly jumped from the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge on Friday was a 25-year-old MUSC student, according to police reports and various online articles. Olutosin "Tosin" Oyelowo, a Nigerian national with roots in Wake Forest, NC, was last seen by motorists and pedestrians leaping from the Bridge, a Mount Pleasant police report states. Calls reporting the jumping were received around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, according to reports.

The Odo Oba community close to Ogbomosho Oyo state woke to a tragic news of the death of a family in the community 7 members of the family including a grandmother, mother and five children died after the Meal of Fish and “Amala” According to the source the neighbours forcefully opened the door of the victims when they waited too long for their usual rise from a previous bed time There was not external injuries on the 7 victims,


The bodies have been deposited at the Ogbomosho state Hospital for post-mortem and examination.

Over 30 Passengers dies in Port-Harcourt

Over 30 passengers of a wooden boat lost their lives after the boat they were traveling in capsized at the Eagle Island in Port-Harcourt last night. Only seven people survived. The passengers used the water instead of the road to Rumuolumeni before taking taxis to Port-Harcourt Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, who confirmed the incident, said seven persons were rescued after the boat mishap, adding that the bodies of the victims certified dead have been deposited at the BMH mortuary.

   Amy Winehouse's posthumous album "Lioness: Hidden Treasures," which was released last monday enters the Billboard chart at No. 5 with 114,000 , the late singer's highest-debuting album ever.

    She's only once previously visited the top 10, with her 2007 set "Back to Black." It initially debuted at No. 7, on its way to an eventual No. 2 peak following her multiple wins at the 2008 Grammy Awards ceremony. The album has also topped the Uk album chart

For allegedly attempting to kill Prophet Temitope Joshua, founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations during a church service, a 29-year old man has been arraigned before the Ebute Meta Magistrates' Court, Lagos, southwest Nigeria. The accused, Francis Ndubuisi, was alleged to have attempted to kill T.B. Joshua with a knife during a service on 22 November, 2011 at the the church's auditorium in Ikotun.

    Dallas Xavier Barrino, weighing 7 lbs 9 ounces and measuring 21 inches, was born at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
"I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family," Barrino said, who also has a 10-year-old daughter. "I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support."

Accident of Governor Uduaghan’s reckless convoy

The convoy of the Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, was this evening at about 6:30pm involved in what eyewitnesses described as a ghastly accident, which left several persons with various degrees of injuries.

Eyewitnesses stated that the accident occurred at Ibusa, on the Asaba-Ughelli expressway when the governor and his entourage were said to be returning from an official engagement.

A 26-year-old lady, Aishat Abdulsalam, who alleged that the remaining eight members of her family had been murdered by the Boko Haram sect in Kangarama, Kastina State, is now being rehabilitated by the Deputy Governor of Osun State, Otunba Titi Laoye-Tomori.

The lady, who appeared on Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC) Television, claimed that her fathertold her before his death that the family hailed from Iwo, Osun State, while her mother was from Oyo town.

Tenant kills landlord in Ogun

                                                         
A tenant, who allegedly killed his landlord in Ogijo area of Ogun State has been arrested by the state Police Command. He was said to have killed Afolabi Olayinka, 73 after being allegedly hit with a club. 

Parading the suspect yesterday, the Ogun State Police Commissioner, Mr. Nicholas Nkemdeme, said the murder suspect would soon be charged to court.
But in what appears as a claim of innocence of his landlord’s death, the suspect explained the circumstances leading to the septuagenarian’s death and regretted his action.:
