A Lorry Driver Ran Over A 5-Yr-Old Boy Reversing Over Him To Make Sure He Was Dead

 
In a very terrifying scene,a lorry driver ran over a five-year-old boy – and then reversed over him to make sure he was dead in an apparent attempt to avoid footing hospital bills for the child.
The sickening incident happened in Luzhou, western China, when driver Ao Yong hit Xiong Maoke as he left home to walk to school.
Witness Zhang Shifen said: 'I saw the truck move back a little and then move forward again. Xiong became wrapped up in the wheel and the truck continued forward another ten yards.'
The tragedy comes just a week after two-year-old Yue Yue was knocked down by two vehicles on a busy market street. The child was ignored by 18 passers-by before someone came to her aid. She died in hospital a few days later.

Lil Wayne has disclosed he is planning to quit the rap game when he clocks 35.The rapper previously expressed his desire to retire in his early 30s. But the 29-year-old has now said he will wait a while longer before he bows out. Wayne pointed to the fact that he wants to spend more time with his family when he retires.

Basically, I have been doing this for 18 years, that's reason number one. I have accomplished all that I have set out to accomplish and more. Harvest of tragedies • For Enugu housewife, set ablaze with 2 kids by husband • Loses son, 7-month pregnancy • Spouse blames enemies for his travail

 

For Enugu housewife, Mrs. Ifeoma Egeonu, this is not the best of times as fate is dealing a cruel blow on her after being set ablaze by her husband on October 1. She was carrying a seven-month pregnancy at the time her hubby, Alexander Ndubuisi, popularly called Sagay, sprinkled petrol on her and her two children, aged three and six, set them ablaze and fled the scene.

Last Friday, Mrs. Egeonu delivered a premature baby, who died shortly after. Her son that suffered severe burns also died at the weekend. It was a harvest of tragedies for the Enugu housewife, as she battles to stay alive. Apart from her burns, she had to cope with the loss of her pregnancy and her son.

Why we killed NTA journalist –Boko Haram

The Jama’atu Ahlus Sunnati Lidda’awati Wal Jihad, otherwise known as Boko Haram said that they were responsible for the killing of Zakariyya Isa, a reporter with the Nigerian Television Authority’s (NTA) Maiduguri Network Centre.

The group has also claimed responsibility for Saturday night’s multiple attacks on a police station and banks in Saminaka, Kaduna State as well as last week’s attack on a Mopol barracks in Kwami, Gombe State.
The group said Zakariyya was killed because he was “an informant of security agencies.” Spokesman of the group, Abul-Qaqa in a telephone conversation with huhuonline.com, said, “Zakariyya was not killed in error. We killed him because he was spying on us.”

A few hours ago the short black boy (his words not mine) went on a twitter rant, saying he his album MI2 should have won album of the year at the Headies. He went on to say he thought MI2 was legendary project, with the best collabs, hits & what not. After several tweet rants, the insults started coming at him fast and furious from 2Face’s twitter fans.

I guess he realized he messed up cos he then paid 2Baba a backhanded compliment saying “Tuface was a worthy winner” this after implying his album was better than Unstoppable.

The beautiful stallion is bereaved presently as her mother, madam Onwenu passed-on in the early hours of Saturday october, 22 2011 in her sleep. She was aged 92. Onyeka lost her charismatic father in a motor accident about 50years when she was very young. Burial arrangement for her mother is yet to be released.

Libya’s interim government will hand the body of slain despot Moamer Gadhafi to his relatives after consulting with them on the location of his burial, a senior government advisor said on Sunday.

 “The decision has been taken to hand him over to his extended family, because none of his immediate family are present at this moment,” Ahmed Jibril told AFP.

 “The NTC (National Transitional Council) are in consultation with his family. It is for his family to decide where Gadhafi will be buried, in consultation with the NTC,” he added.
 Jibril, who is an advisor to the new regime’s interim premier Mahmud Jibril, declined to say when the transfer would take place.

How i will have handled Boko Haram- Obasanjo

 Nigeria’s former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, on Tuesday said if the Boko Haram insurgence had erupted during his term in office, he would have ended the serial killings by adopting what he described as “carrot and stick” approach as he did with the Niger Delta militants.Obasanjo, spoke on Tuesday in a special Hausa programme of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), which was monitored in Maiduguri, Borno State, the home base of the radical Islamic sect.
He said: “What I will do to bring an end to the serial killings and bombings in the northern states, was the adaptation of the carrot and stick approach on the Niger Delta militants, where I invited 35 different leaders of the militants from the region and listened to all their grievances against the Federal Government and their traditional leaders, whom they alleged had been conniving with the latter.”
According to Obasanjo, the carrot would include addressing “poverty and unemployment” in the North, while the stick could be in the form of dialogue and “massive intelligence gathering” by the security agents to root out perpetrators of the alleged serial killings and bombings.
Meanwhile, the family of Mohammed Baba Fugu has noted that Obasanjo’s statement on the Boko Haram sect and his visit to the late Babakura Fugu on September 15, 2011 have caused more havoc and devastation to their members.
Yakolo Baba Fugu, the younger sister to the late Babakura told the BBC that Obasanjo’s alleged statement that he had no regret on the death of her brother was very unfair, inconsiderate and painful to the entire members of the Fugu family.
According to her, the former president’s visit created nothing, other than sadness and pains.
“Obasanjo’s visit to Maiduguri has no impact on our lives. We thought after his visit to Maiduguri, we would have roof on our heads. But the whole thing has turned out to be a terrible encounter with the former president. Our family members are now in a worsening situation. Babakura died and left behind 10 children from two wives and all of them are squatting with members of the larger family.”

Photo Speak: Massive Earthquake Hits Turkey

Up to 1,000 people were feared dead today after a powerful earthquake hit Turkey.

The 7.2-magnitude tremor devastated parts of Van province in the east of the country, collapsing dozens of buildings into piles of twisted steel and chunks of concrete.

Desperate survivors dug into the rubble with their bare hands, trying to rescue the trapped and injured.

The worst hit was Ercis, a town of 75,000 close to the Iranian border in one of Turkey's most earthquake-prone zones. Twenty-five to 30 buildings collapsed including a dormitory.

At least 85 have been killed and 150 injured, but scientists estimated that up to 1,000 people could be dead, due to low housing standards in the area and the size of the quake.  

An eight-storey building with shops underneath was flattened. Residents sobbed outside the ruins, hoping that missing relatives would be rescued.

CNN-Turk television showed one young man crying: 'My wife and child are inside! My 4-month-old baby is inside!'

Witnesses said eight people were rescued from the rubble, but frequent aftershocks were hampering search efforts.

 I heard this couple got married yesterday and on their way to thanksgiving had an accident,the wife i hear died with her unborn baby and the husband is in a coma.
