GOLDEN MOMENT: Crippled man confronts Governor Rochas Okorocha

This past Thursday, Governor Rochas Okorocha did something very touching that left many onlookers speechless moments after he left the scene.  A  very emotional moment worth sharing.
The Governor and Deputy, Sir Jude Agbaso had just left a meeting at the SSG’s office . Unknown to Gov. Okorocha,  he had a visitor who came determined to meet him despite all odds. Sitting comfortably in a strategic position,  waiting patiently as he hoped for his  GOLDEN opportunity.
That moment finally came…
As the Governors entourage made their way across the premises of the Multi-Purpose, he mustered all the energy within  and wheeled himself towards the entourage.
On sighting the man, Gov.Okorocha’s Security aides tried to shove him away asking that he wheeled his way out the Governor’s path. The man refused to budge and helplessly called out to the Governor in a loud voice  - “Owelleeeeeeee”.

He said the blast was followed by gunshots from the attackers, causing panic as people ran for cover.

The Johnstons, a family of achondroplasia dwarfs, call themselves the real-life seven dwarfs. Mom Amber and dad Trent, who have two biological and three adopted dwarf children, say they wrote to the show to share their story, because it's important for them to educate others.

Amber explains what it's like when people ask to take their picture. "I think sometimes people look at us a lot of times with other shows being on TV they think we're that show," says Amber.

"Some people are doing it to be ugly." "People are curious," continues Amber. "And people don't know how to ask questions. And it's our objective to educate people."

Take a look at this moment from the show and help educate yourself and those around you about achondroplasia

How Policemen Killed Our Husbands in Cold Blood

It has become usual for policemen to harass commercial motorcycle operators (Okada riders) for Egunje (bribe) not only in Ondo State but also across the country. The alleged cold murder of two blood brothers who left eight children and their pregnant wives behind in Okitipupa by policemen in the Ondo State was mean.
The deceased brothers, Christopher and Robinson Okawon, however, had, at least, two things in common as they were both commercial motorcycle operators and impregnated their wives at about the same time.
Christopher, a school drop out, was gunned down, while riding Okada, for failing to part with N20 at an illegal check point mounted in front of one of the new generational banks in Okitipupa. The suspected killer cop, Constable Igodih Gbefamoghan, had been posted to the commercial bank but decided to do quick business by arm-twisting the deceased for plying the route to the bank at Kajola Street junction around 9:15 p.m. on that fateful Thursday.

Boko Haram kills NTA cameraman

Suspected members of a radical Islamist sect shot dead a state television cameraman in Maiduguri Saturday, union and military sources said, in what could be the first assassination of a journalist by the sect. Boko Haram, whose name means “Western education is forbidden,” has been blamed by authorities for near daily shootings and deadly bombings around Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, which sits in the far northeast corner of Africa’s most populous nation on borders with Cameroon, Chad and Niger. The sect’s attacks usually target the police, military, prominent religious figures and drinking spots but in recent weeks journalists have been threatened by the group, which says it wants sharia law more widely applied across

The Kanye West Deal…
First of all there are two different kinds of contracts here. This deal is more like a Mo Hit’s Records contract and under Mo Hits, there are two deals.
The first, is a two- year production deal with Don Jazzy. He’ll be working directly with Kanye West. The second one is more like a partnership. It’s flexible because it’s a partnership. It’s not a regular deal because we’re funding some part of the deal. And it also puts us in the position of power. The deal isn’t just for the Mo’hits crew. Other artists will also have access to it and the money will come in. We now have the connection and the bridge has finally been built and as we’re doing that we’re still holding our base back home. So it’s flexible and good too.

The New Single

Oh yes, it will drop before December by God’s grace with a beautiful video. It’s a Kanye West collabo.

Gaddafi wanted to break Nigeria

Slain Libyan leader, Col. Muammar Gaddafi was a major sponsor of terrorism activities and religious fundamentalism in the country, resulting in his supply of arms and ammunition to sectarian groups during religious uprisings, terrorist attacks and even the post elections violence that rocked the nation soon after the 2011 presidential elections, Saturday Vanguard has learnt.

Security sources disclosed that they had been aware of the intention of Col. Gaddafi to instigate the destabilization of Nigeria with a view to bringing to fruition, his proclamation early this year, that Nigeria would disintegrate into several parts unless the country was divided into two, with North going their own way and the South forming their own country.

GADHAFI: WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW ABOUT HIM

Seven crazy things about ex-Libyan leader

Col. Moammar Gadhafi, the dictator who ruled Libya for 42 years, was killed by rebels in his hometown of Sirte on Thursday. A dictator who oppressed his own people and sponsored terrorism abroad, Gadhafi’s legacy will be stained by violence. But beyond his brutality, Gadhafi will be remembered for something else entirely… being a first-class weirdo.
In no particular order, ABCNews.com brings you the seven weirdest things about Moammar Gadhafi.

1. The “Bulletproof” Tent:
When Gadhafi was at home in Tripoli, he lived in a well-fortified compound with a complex system of escape tunnels. But when he travelled abroad, this “Bedouin” brought a bit of the desert with him, camping out in the world’s capitals. The tent was so heavy it needed to be flown on a separate plane, wherever the dictator travelled. To complete the Arabian Nights theme, Gadhafi often would tether a camel or two outside.
