Intolerant Chelsea Fires Manager, As Abramovich lambastes Players


If there is any man on this planet, earth, that has little or no tolerance for failure, Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich is sure to be the man.His 12 years as the owner of the London club has seen 7 top flight manager’s career being rubbished by his undue interference and impatient tendencies.

On Sunday afternoon the 8-months reign of 34 year-old manager, Andres Villas-Boas came to an unceremonious end after serious dressing room altercations with a cult of influential players.
Roman Abramovic aquired the club in 2000 and since 7 managers who have been asked to pick their P45 slip up at the reception on their way out are:
  1. CLAUDIO RANIERI (September 2000 to May 2004)
  2. JOSE MOURINHO (June 2004 to September 2007)
  3. AVRAM GRANT (September 2007 to May 2008)
  4. LUIZ FELIPE SCOLARI (July 2008 to February 2009)
  5. GUUS HIDDINK (February 2009 to May 2009)
  6. CARLO ANCELOTTI (June 2009 to May 2011)
  7. ANDRE VILLAS-BOAS (June 2011 to March 2012)
Meanwhile, the club owner has read the riot act to all the players in the team, blaming them for the manager’s failure to make an impact in the team due to their intolerant behaviours, and promised a “massive overhaul” during the summer.
In the mean time, Assistant coach Roberto Di Matteo has been asked to replace the departing manager.
