The Fifth Annual BET Honors took place last night in washington DC to recognize the achievements of legends in the field of entertainment, media,education.

Mariah carey, stevie wonder,spike lee were among the honorees.The night featured performances by Willow and Aretha franklin , along with Patti LaBelle, Common, Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard and Cicely Tyson.
First Lady Michelle Obama ,Common, Jennifer Hudson, Aretha Franklin, Queen Latifah, Willow Smith, Jill Scott, were also present to salute the honorees.
BET Honors will air on Monday, February 13 at on BET.
