Ending speculation that he would be joining the French team – Paris Saint – Germain, David Beckham has turned down the team’s offer citing “family reasons”.
The 36 year old star whose 5 year contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy ended on December 31, placed the well being of his family who currently reside in California, above any other persuading factors.
No word yet as to what his next move will be. The decision not to join the French team has left the organization’s president Nasser al Khelafi “disappointed”.
